"Make Your Mark": PGA-Cadillac Short Film Competition!

Producers!  Here's your chance to Make Your Mark and get recognized during the ABC telecast of the 2015 Academy Awards®. Here's your chance to #MakeYourMark. The Producers Guild of America and Cadillac have come together to launch their first collaborative film competition putting the spotlight on producers, Make Your Mark. Previously known as the PGA Weekend Shorts CHALLENGE, Make Your Mark will this year pay respects to prolific producer Saul Zaentz and has a new epic twist. The three semi-finalists of the 51 hour filmmaking competition will move on to the ultimate challenge; to make new short film, with the winning film highlighted in a 30 second Cadillac TV spot and the producer will be credited by name. The spot will air during the ABC telecast of the 2015 Academy Awards®. Guggenheim Foundation Fellowships - Applications Open!

The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation provides fellowships for advanced professionals in all fields -- including the natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and  creative arts  -- except the performing arts. Often characterized as "midcareer" awards, the fellowships are intended for individuals who have already demonstrated exceptional capacity for productive scholarship or exceptional creative ability in the arts. The foundation will provide fellowships to  composers but not conductors, singers, or instrumentalists; choreographers but not dancers;  filmmakers,  playwrights, and performance artists who create their own work but not actors or theater directors.
